The Purcell Parlour Gallery was created by Julia Purcell, the eldest daughter of well-known artists Joseph and Tela Purcell of Nova Scotia. Julia has been painting and drawing since early childhood and studied at UBC and Dalhousie University where she earned an Honors BA in Theater and Music. After graduating she was employed at Neptune Theater and Zwicker’s Art Gallery in Halifax, NS. Over the years she has taken short courses in pottery, silver smithing, basketry and printmaking.
Her work can be viewed at many local galleries he gallery and at her home.

The secrets of marbling on paper revealed. In this 2 hour workshop your group will learn about the art of marbling on paper using Irish Moss and acrylic marbling paints. Customize this to be demonstration only or hands on.

Create a series of original post cards and send them off back home. This 1 hour workshop can be customized in or out of doors. Stamps included.
