Sail out of Souris, PEI with JJ Chaisson – The Fiddling Fisherman. Onboard our boat ‘Chaisson A Dream’ we want you to chase your dream with us and enjoy a musical, relaxing, entertaining, and inspiring experience that will certainly be the highlight of your stay on Prince Edward Island. On ‘Chaisson A Dream’ with Captain and renown multi-instrumentalist and entertainer J.J. Chaisson a.k.a. The Fiddling Fisherman; you will sail out of Souris harbour, drop anchor along PEI’s beautiful red cliff coastline, and relax in a picture-perfect setting. It is here that you will enjoy a 2-hour gathering of music, dance, and hands on knowledge of traditional music and the fishing industry of Prince Edward Island. This is the most unique hands-on experience that PEI has to offer!

The Chaisson A Dream
The brand new 2018 Chaisson A Dream is a custom-designed boat built by Dixon’s Marine in Lower Woods Harbour, Nova Scotia and finished by Harold Stright in Murray Corner, New Brunswick. Chaisson A Dream is a fully equipped fiberglass lobster fishing boat, that is listed as a PASSENGER FERRY WITH TRANSPORT CANADA. WE ARE APPROVED TO CARRY 45 PASSENGERS. All modern navigational equipment including sounder, GPS plotters, radar, VHS radios, Simrad autopilot, and onboard camera system. We carry a full complement of life jackets, as well as, a 75-person life raft. The Chaisson A Dream is 45’ long and 17’ wide that is powered by a 625hp Volvo and has a cruising speed of 18 knots. We also have a 9KW Cummins generator onboard to power our fridges and sound system. Seating for a max of 45 guests on deck to enjoy our Authentic PEI Experiences. Equipped with many conveniences onboard such as running water, full bathroom, microwave, coffee maker and beverage coolers.
