The Reach Foundation

The Reach Foundation is a safe, stigma free environment for youth who are transitioning from mental health and addiction treatment to recovery and reintegration into the community, the workforce, or back to school. Prior to coming to the Reach Foundation, participants must have completed a treatment program or be receiving services from a recovery facility.

OUR PRODUCTS

Running as a social enterprise, foundation participants manufacture soap, wood products and beeswax wraps for conferences, events, retail and gifts.

Our soap shop manufactures soaps that come in different shapes including a bar, starfish, lobster, and seashells. The soap products can be scented and coloured in a wide range of fragrances and colours.

Our wood shop manufactures cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and seasonal wood products under the guidance of our skilled woodworkers, learning to work with different woods, tools, and techniques.

The soap shop develops and makes soap for PEI’s famous COWS Inc. and the charcuterie and chefs boards are being used by Canadian-made cookware company Meyers Canada. The chef boards are also being used by some of the top chefs in Canada and are soon going to be featured on the Price is Right.

Proceeds from all sales are directly re-invested into supporting Island youth in recovery from mental health and addictions challenges.
