Upstreet Craft Brewing

At Upstreet Craft Brewing, we believe in community almost as much as we believe in making the best possible beer. Imagine a gathering place to come together with friends, to meet your neighbours and to celebrate camaraderie over a beer and a few laughs.

The Upstreet Taproom is a place to catch up with old friends, celebrate the end of a hard week, sit down to a board game, or just chat with any of our brewery staff. We love seeing the community use the space in different ways.

We offer the Taproom to groups at no cost! We have 1200 square feet of space and can accommodate a group of up to 90 people.

Whether you’re having a beer in our brewery or on your front porch, you’re part of our community – where we celebrate the people, the places and the activities we love.

Upstreet Craft Brewing started as most beer companies do — a few buds sitting around slugging back homebrew and talking big game of dropping it all to open a brewery of our own. Before we knew it we were in too deep to turn back and just kept going until we began to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Turns out it was the best idea we ever had.

Today Upstreet is something we are all very proud of and aim to create more than just great beer over the coming years. We hope you’ll appreciate what we love to do and join us in building this brand, this idea, this community.

About Upstreet Craft Brewing

Upstreet Craft Brewing started as most beer companies do — a few buds sitting around slugging back homebrew and talking big game of dropping it all to open a brewery of our own. Before we knew it we were in too deep to turn back and just kept going until we began to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Turns out it was the best idea we ever had.

Truth be told, this whole ride really started years ago when Hogie brewed his first batch of beer. He kickstarted an obsession back in 2006 that would drive him to create hundreds of batches, brewed in kitchens, barns, backyards and basements; some great ones, some “interesting” ones, and some crazy ones. Many people have tasted Hogie’s homebrews over the years, and his party trick became something of a local legend.

It wasn’t until a few years later when we all got together that the pieces all started falling into place and things began to escalate quickly. We had no idea what we were doing, still don’t really, but planning and support from a lot of amazing people have helped us face countless challenges that popped up along the way.

Today, Upstreet is a B-Corp certified company with three locations across two provinces, a line of craft sodas, and beer on shelves in all four Atlantic provinces. We hope to continue to grow and refresh our communities.
