Confederation Centre of the Arts
Confederation Centre of the Arts was founded in 1964 as Canada’s National Memorial to the Fathers of Confederation, who gathered at Province House in 1864 to discuss the creation of our country. Covering an entire city block, the Centre stands on what was the site of the old Charlottetown marketplace. Located within walking distance of hotels, shops and restaurants, the Centre is a full-service rental facility which offers an 1,106-seat theatre, a 200-seat cabaret-style theatre, two studio theatres, art gallery, boardroom and Memorial Hall.
MEETING & CONVENTION FACILITIES:
Its unique features such as the marble-walled Memorial Hall, the elaborate 1,102-seat Homburg Theatre, the 200-seat cabaret Mack Theatre, and the intimate Studio Theatres make the Centre a leading choice for meetings and conventions.
