The award-winning Double Hill Cidery is located in Caledonia, the heart of south-eastern Prince Edward Island. Named for the ravine that dissects the land into two hills, the orchard now grows 16 different varieties of cider apples.
The Cidery offers 360 acres of possibilities for events: In the orchard or at the Terrace under the Chestnut Trees. The terrace offers a stunning view of Northumberland Strait and Nova Scotia.
Capacity:
We are an outdoor venue with full bathroom facilities and a taproom housed in modified containers. Tents and other structures will keep up to 100 guests dry, even when it pours. In good weather, and with additional tent rentals, we can expand the capacity to 200.
The location in the orchard, the serenity, the view and the rural surroundings have frequently been described as “magical”.
Knowledgeable serving staff is available. Guided tours are also available. Tours are available for up to 15 participants per 45-minute tour. The tour can be staggered for more participants.
