CHARLOTTETOWN AIRPORT

YYG Charlottetown Airport is PEI’s only commercial airport with non-stop flights to Toronto and Montreal, seasonal flights to Ottawa, Calgary, Kitchener-Waterloo, Hamilton and Edmonton and thousands of connections worldwide. The Charlottetown Airport is located less than 10 km from the city centre.

Air Canada offers direct flights from Toronto and Montreal year-round and extra flights are offered from Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal during the summer months. WestJet offers direct service to Toronto on a year-round basis with additional flights from May to October as well as seasonal service from Calgary.

And as a new low-cost option, Flair Airlines offers direct flight from Toronto and Montreal year-round with extra flights offered in the summer from Ottawa and Kitchener Waterloo. Swoop will be offering flights from Hamilton, Toronto and Edmonton starting in late spring 2022.

CALGARY AB – A new direct service between Calgary and Charlottetown will ensure your western delegates get to your PEI conference even sooner. This non-stop 4.5 hour flight connects Prince Edward Island to Western Canada. https://www.yyc.com

YYG Schedule Update – Summer 2022 

Toronto – 2x per day in May/June, 3x per day in July/August 

Montreal – 2x per day in May/June, 3x per day in July/August 

Ottawa – 1x per day from May 1 to October 29 

Halifax – Air Canada will not be operating flights to/from Halifax 

Toronto – gradually adding frequency in May/June, up to 2x per day in July/August 

Calgary – 3x per week from June 30 to September 10 (Tues/Thurs/Sat) 

Toronto – Increasing to 4x per week starting May 16 (Mon/Thurs/Fri/Sun) 

Ottawa – 3x per week starting July 6 (Mon/Wed/Fri) 

Kitchener-Waterloo – 2x per week starting July 9 (Thurs/Sun) 

Hamilton – 2x per week starting May 1 (Thurs/Sun), 4x per week June 20 (Mon/Fri) 

Toronto – 3x per week starting May 2 (Mon/Wed/Fri) 

Edmonton – 2x per week starting June 16 (Thurs/Sun) 

Discussions continue with PAL, but at this time there is no timeline as to when, or even if, they will be back at YYG. We hope to have some further news from PAL very soon.
