Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization made up of business and professional people sharing a common goal: the economic development of the capital region.

With 1,100 + members, the chamber reflects a diverse network of small, medium and large businesses from almost every industry sector and business profession. Through service on the Chamber board, a Chamber committee or a task force, members express their views, and direct and shape the activities and programs of the Chamber.

The Chamber accomplishes collectively what no business can do alone:

  • Advocacy: The Chamber’s primary role is advocacy. It represents its membership on issues affecting business and the community including provincial, federal and municipal budgets, economic development issues, infrastructure and transportation issues, and other areas that affect the ability of members to grow and prosper.
  • Benefits: The Chamber provides a variety of benefits to members, including access to the Canadian Chamber Group Insurance Plan, attractive credit and debit card discounts, assistance with exporting, and a variety of marketing and promotional opportunities.
  • Education: Recognizing the challenges faced by its members in providing timely, practical and affordable training for staff, the Chamber offers a variety of workshops, seminars and other programs on timely and vital business topics.
  • Networking: The Chamber is also committed to providing networking opportunities to enable members to grow their businesses by making valuable contacts with others in the business community. People do business with people.

We are the major voice of business in the greater Charlottetown area.
