Experience kilometres of pristine beaches, scenic forest trails, stunning views along the Gulfshore Way in Cavendish and the spectacular parabolic dunes at Greenwich. In July and August, visitors can enjoy engaging learning activities and immerse themselves in Island culture through music and stories at evening campfire programs. Golfers will love to play a round at the breathtaking Green Gables Golf Course.

Green Gables Heritage Place
Walk in the footsteps of one of Canada’s most celebrated authors and immerse yourself in the landscape that inspired Anne of Green Gables. This national treasure boasts exquisite gardens, the original house and farmyard, walking trails that inspired “Lovers Lane”, animated bilingual interpretive events, films, displays, The Butter Churn Café and more! Group reservations are requested, and off-season visits are available.

Port-la-Joye – Fort Amherst National Historic Site
Walk the Old Harbour Path to discover the rich history of settlement, conflict and change during the struggle for control of North America and learn about the importance of this site to French, Mi’kmaq and British history.
