Have you been to PEI before? If so, what year?We were in PEI in 2015 for the National Health Leadership Conference
Meeting Potential— Please tell us about any business events you are considering hosting in PEI in the next 2-3 years

The Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL), a national member-driven non-profit association, is the connected community that develops, supports, and inspires health leaders across Canada. The College strives to provide the leadership development, tools, knowledge and networks that members need to become high impact leaders in Canadian healthcare.

Project Description
The CCHL National Conference the largest national gathering of health system decision-makers in Canada including trustees, chief executive officers, directors, managers, and department heads. Participants represent health regions, authorities and networks, hospitals, long-term care organizations, public health agencies, community care, mental health services, and social services. (This conference was previously called the National Health Leadership Conference)

Our expected attendance is 600-650 (in 2015 we were over 700, but have been trending lower post-covid). We estimate the room requirements would be approximately 1,200 over 6 nights, with peak nights around 375-400. We typically have a little more hotel nights in PEI as we have less local attendance.

The program includes:
- Board meeting Friday
- Chapter and board meeting Saturday
- pre-conference workshops Sunday
- Awards gala Sunday evening
- Conferencing Monday
- Conferencing Tuesday

We are considering St. John's and PEI for 2027, our rotation and history is:
2026: Montreal, QC
2025: Edmonton, AB
2024: Halfax, NS
2023: Toronto, ON. Attendance: 502
2021-2022: Virtual
2020: Cancelled
2019: Toronto, ON. Attendance: 754
2018: St. John’s NL. Attendance: 666
2017: Vancouver, BC. Attendance: 687
2016: Ottawa, ON. Attendance: 720
2015: Charlottetown, PEI. Attendance: 733

Let me know if you have any questions! You can expect to receive the RFP in May.
